Overall Objectives:

Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

Main Objectives:

  • Being the first point of contact of the Hotel.

  • Coordinating reservations for the Hotel and the Restaurant.

Ensure maximum occupancy

Summary of Duties:

  • Knowledgeable in hotel and guest room facilities/services and ensures reservations agents are equally knowledgeable.

  • Monitoring Telephone Manner ( Tone of Voice Standard) and general performance of reservations staff daily.

  • Reviews no-show and cancelled reservations and processes charges according to hotel’s policy.

  • Responsible for work schedule of the Reservation Team.

  • Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department, effective reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue in order to meet or exceed the revenue target.

  • Coordinate the yield management to guarantee full occupancy.

  • Ensure the team is up to date about the Events in the area.

  • Making sure all reservations are updated with the correct routing, package, offer and billing instructions, relative back up.

  • Working with the GM and RDM on the rate strategy.

  • Positive and proactive manner

  • Being an ambassador for the Hotel

  • Coordinating the reservations team to ensure a smooth run of the operations.
