Residential Learning Support Assistant

37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

(These involve a mixture of early and late shifts, working alternate weekends)

£19,334 - £20,019 per annum plus weekend enhancements and overtime opportunities

Trainee positions are also available at £17,682 per annum whilst we support you to achieve your first Level 3 qualification if you do not have these.

St Elizabeth’s is a non-maintained residential special school and registered Children’s Home with a specialism in Epilepsy and other complex needs.

Your role of Residential Learning Support Assistant is a dual role based in the classroom and also in the Home to support and assist our pupils in all aspects of their daily lives. The role also includes some personal care.

You will be required to hold ONE of the following qualifications and be committed to become dual-qualified at Level 3:

OCR Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

NVQ Level 3 in Supported Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
