Your new company
Our client in the heart of Dorset, provide fantastic Care and Support for Vulnerable Children between the ages of 7-19, with Autism and complex needs. Based on the Sea Front, the children here benefit from large grounds and plenty of outdoor space, as well as fantastic facilities such as a Sensory Room, and Outdoor Play Equipment.
Your new role
As a Day Support Worker you will provide focused Care and Support for Vulnerable Children with Autism and other complex needs. You will be working up to 40 hours per week, with variable shift patterns depending upon the needs of the client. The work is challenging but highly rewarding. No previous experience is required, as this client will enrol you on a full training programme complete with a 2 week induction, to give you the start you need in Children's Support Work.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Support Worker, you will only need a caring mentality, and strong communication skills (as some of the children need non-verbal communication and support). A UK Driving Licence and access to a car is desired, but not essential. No previous experience is needed due to the high level of training and support you will receive.
