Together they lead a strong team at RJP providing accountancy and tax services to entrepreneurs and business in South London and the home counties. RJP now offers the full range of accountancy services to businesses including book keeping, auditing and obtaining finance, effectively becoming a clients outsourced accounts department and virtual Finance Director.

Key Role Objectives:

  • To provide an excellent level of client service.

  • To provide support to the Partners and members of the tax department.

  • To work as part of the tax department team.

  • To ensure good communication between the tax department and other departments.

  • To work directly with clients to deliver Tax Services

Main Duties:

  • To manage a portfolio of personal tax and corporate tax clients to a good technical level, meeting all deadlines.

  • Work includes preparation of annual compliance forms, advising on tax due and deadlines.

  • Preparation of forms P11D, PAYE settlement agreements and dividend paperwork for corporate clients.

  • Seeking out and advising on planning opportunities where possible.

  • To carry out additional tax work as required.

Experience Required:

  • Experience of managing a client portfolio

  • Management of Tax Administrative Procedures

  • Income Tax Responsibility

  • Partnership Tax

  • Corporation tax

  • Capital Gains Tax

Desirable Experience:

  • An understanding of Inheritance Tax

  • Awareness of Trust Tax

  • Management of junior staff

  • Report writing

Qualifications:

  • Good level of education

  • ATT

  • CTA, or wish to take exams (desirable)
