Maintenance and Facilities Manager Sheffield Salary circa £45,000 dependant on experience

My client is a global market leader and they are currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to join them on their flagship site on a permanent basis.

The position of Maintenance and Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that an effective and safe environment is maintained. The Maintenance and Facilities manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled engineers in the maintenance of a wide variety of production machinery, maintenance of the existing structure, and the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

The successful candidate will have control over the maintenance departments budget and ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

To be considered for the position of Maintenance and Facilities Manager it is essential for candidates to have recent proven experience in managing teams of multi skilled engineers in a production environment. It is also essential for candidates to have experience in Maintaining a variety of production machinery. It would be beneficial for candidates to have experience in the maintenance of the following: machine centres, welding equipment, laser machinery, forming and electroforming equipment amongst others. It would also be beneficial to have experience in the management of budgets and CAPEX.

This position is commutable from Sheffield, Donacster, Rotherham, Worksop, Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
