Commercial Account Executive
The Account Executive will inherit a small book of business and be expected to manage and retain this, though the main focus of the role will be new business development with a target of £3500 income per month. The role will entail targeting large SME and mid-market general commercial clients, securing their business and building long-term relationships. There is a marketing budget in place as well as a large database of personal lines clients to assist, but lead generation will be an important part of the role e.g. through cold-calling and networking. This is a home-based role and location is flexible, from Reading, down to Southampton, across to Brighton and up to South London.
Individuals are sought who have a proven track record of developing business and retaining valued clients. General commercial knowledge is key and the ability to work autonomously. Both generalists and specialists will be considered.
