Working week is five days from seven, these would not be split shifts.

As an experienced Banqueting Sous Chef you will be working in a diverse kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals. 

Although you will be working under an Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef you will be required at times to step up in their absence. 

The banqueting facilities has the ability to seat up to 450 people and 900 standing. The restaurant serves mainly British food using only ingredients of the finest quality. 

As Banqueting Sous Chef you will be required to the lead the banqueting team which can be up to 10 people ensuring it is fully prepared for service whilst also man managing the other chefs working with you. 

- Ideally have at least 3 years' experience within a high-end 1 or 2 rosette kitchen environment which essentially must include banqueting experience
- Be able to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team and leading that team
- Calm,level headed and organised in your work
- Have experience with banqueting volume (minimum 250 volume)
- Assess quality control and adhere to the company service standards
- Experience working in a multi kitchen operation
- Strong knowledge of standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
- Lead and support junior members of your team
- Manage kitchen P&L, kitchen related LRA and GEI standards
- Manage staff rota's, training and communication meetings
- Full awareness of menu items, recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
- Project a pleasant and positive professional image to all contacts at all times
- Speak fluent English
- Menu planning and direction
