Maintenance Engineers (Electrical Bias)
£27,000 + Shift allowance
Maintenance Engineers with Electrical Bias required by a busy and progressive manufacturing company to work within the operations department. Role involves working closely with the engineering shift supervisor to deliver a high standard of engineering service.
- Repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, including production machines.
- Hands on engineering
- Mechanical fitting
- Understanding of mechanical engineering of drawings
- Quality inspection
- Fault finding
Previous experience in a busy manufacturing environment and working with different types and sizes of production equipment. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Effective mechanical fitting skills
- Ability to resolve either electrical or mechanical faults
- Ability to work under pressure
- Have problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work to deadlines.
£27,000 plus shift allowance working 12 hour shift pattern, working average 42 hours per week. Free on site parking and canteen facilities. Contributory pension plan, staff shop vouchers, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.
