Public Practice Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Pension Audit Senior to join a high-profile Top 10 accountancy firm based in Bristol. This Pension Audit Senior Job in Bristol is suitable for an ACCA/ACA Audit Senior with a minimum of three years’ experience working within a busy public practice accountancy firm and a background in Pension Audit.
This will be the perfect job opportunity for an Audit Senior who thrives on a challenge, is focused and has a can-do attitude, to progress within an active, forward thinking accountancy firm. The ideal Audit Senior will be an ACCA/ACA Qualified Accountant with a minimum of three years’ experience and who is looking to accelerate the growth of their career within a reputable accountancy firm. Good working knowledge and technical application of accounts and auditing standards including the Pensions SORP is essential.
This Pension Audit Senior Job in Bristol will include managerial responsibility for a team within the Pension Audit department, taking full ownership of the day to day audit process whilst reporting directly to, and working closely with, the Partner.

The main responsibilities for this Audit Senior job include:
- Plan, perform and complete the pensions audit process for a range of clients
- Managerial responsibilities for a team of Audit Semi Seniors and Audit Juniors
- Taking full responsibility of the day to day Pension audit process
- Provide regular progress reports to the Manager
- Assist with the training of more junior staff
- Plan and assign work to a team of more junior staff
- Work to tight budgets and deadlines
The ideal Audit Senior will be ACCA/ACA qualified and will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This Audit Senior job would suit an ambitious and hardworking individual that would appreciate the chance to work alongside a determined and experienced management team. Experience of carrying out internal control reviews (AAF 01/06, AAF 02/07, ISAE 3402 etc.) would be advantageous.
