An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a National HR and Health & Safety Consultancy, Croner, as a Communications Content Writer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a B2B focused marketing team.

You will be responsible for writing content that resonates with SME Business owners and engages with our target market through a variety of channels. Your writing will also play a key role in building the brand through our media outlets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop engaging news stories and communications for external audiences.
  • Write online content ensuring it is relevant, current and engaging.
  • Help build content to educate and inspire our target audience; such as articles, ebooks, white papers, infographics. case studies, product collateral and bid library exerts.
  • Work with the group marketing and sales team to plan a quarterly and annual content strategy.
  • Create content for a variety of platforms, including, but not limited to, the external website, media publications and company newsletters.
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer behaviour and the latest trends to improve the performance of your writing and content.
  • Managing copy to align with company objectives, standards and brand guidelines.
  • Writing assignments related to awards submissions, client communications, press releases and thought leadership.
  • Develop a PR strategy in conjunction with the marketing team, to improve brand recognition and reputation.

Skills & experience required

  • 3+ years of professional content writing experience.
  • A real ability to understand your target audience and make content that engages them.
  • An established track record of developing marketing content from conception to deliver to impact.
  • Demonstrate a strong writing flair and a passion for generating new ideas.
  • Fast pace communication skills to deal with news stories and campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR/employment law is favourable but not essential.
