I am looking for a National Account Manager to lead the Tesco account for a Global business that specialise in products within the impulse channel. You will have bags of experience, be a proven team leader and someone with a track record of creating, executing and managing successful account business plans.

My client has gone from strength to strength in recent years, in part thanks to a large-scale acquisition. They pride themselves on developing high-calibre staff to continue to innovate and grow their iconic market leading brands.

Responsiblities:

  • Develop, manage and grow the Grocery Account.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial business plan with external contacts.
  • Responsible for Account P&L and budget.
  • Maintain strong cross-function relationships with all relevant commercial teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone with considerable experience selling into Grocery accounts.
  • Someone with a background in Confectionery and/or Snack Food is preferable.
  • Degree level educated or equivalent.
  • A proven relationship builder, team leader and influencer.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage a varied workload.

This role is home based with occasional office presence and meetings at Tesco. The position offers a competitive salary, company car and bonus scheme along with further benefits.
