Quality Care Supervisor
In this key role, you’ll not only provide care the Audley Care way in the heart of people’s homes, you’ll also inspire your small team to do the same. Our brand of care, based on respect, empathy and scrupulously high standards is proving to be very popular, which means there are lots of career development opportunities within Audley. Plus, our benefits are above the average, with generous mileage rates, funded training through the Audley Academy, smart uniforms, Paid Holiday, Medicash scheme, and discounts on a range of local and national retailers all coming as standard.
The role’s twofold. Firstly, you’ll help oversee a small team, lending a hand with everything from recruiting and training Personal Care Assistants, to ensuring their work meets both the CQC standards - and those of our customers! Whether you’re working with the Care Co-ordinator to help set up new care packages, taking customer feedback, or keeping an eye on financial targets, you’ll keep things running with real efficiency. You’ll also be providing care yourself. Working to personal care plans that could include anything from washing, dressing and overseeing medication, to housework, laundry and shopping, you’ll deliver a respectful, warm service that will be a brilliant example to your team.
The skills you’ll need
At Audley, we take real pride in providing a level of care that’s head and shoulders above the rest. You’ll need to do the same. You should also be qualified to (or working towards) NVQ/QCF level 3. Highly organised and self-motivated, you’re always keen to solve problems, take on challenges and raise standards. A great listener, and brilliant communicator, you’ll bond with your team quickly, and inspire them to even greater things. Not least because you’re a real role model when it comes to delivering care. Warm, capable, empathetic and 100% reliable, you always do things the Audley way. On a practical note, you’ll also need to be a driver with access to a car, and have good IT literacy skills.
