Accounts Assistant

Main Duties
-Reporting to the Management Accountant.
-Coding purchase invoices onto the bespoke system.
-Registering and matching of invoices.
-Dealing with purchase ledger enquiries.
-Processing BACS payments.
-Reconciling supplier statements.
-Completing monthly VAT return.
-Completing monthly Intrastat and EC Sales lists.
-To provide holiday cover for the payroll function.
-As the role progresses you will take more responsibility off the Management Accountant.
-To ensure accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness.

Ideally you will have
-Similar experience with an Accounts Assistant role.
-Good IT skills in particular with Microsoft Excel.
