An exciting opportunity for an experienced assistant accountant to join a busy team in Halifax

Your new company
You will be joining a group of companies who specialise in their sector and renowned for the exceptional service they provide.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the accounts for multiple inter companies and your duties will include

  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Producing management accounts to trial balance
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Processing sales ledger invoices
  • Payment runs
  • Dealing with any supplier queries
  • The system used is Opera

This is a permanent part time role Monday - Friday 25 hours per week (ideally over 5 days but the client can be flexible with this)

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working in a busy and varied finance role and you must have previously assisted with accounts to trial balance.
You will be a team player who enjoys working as a team but also individually
