Job Title: Director of Work Based Learning and Employer Engagement 
Location: Croydon, Surrey
Salary: £50,000 per annum plus Performance Related Pay 
Hours: Normally 37 hours per week but commensurate on completing the duties associated with the post. 
Duration: Permanent.

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the Surrey area.

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Director of Work Based Learning and Employer Engagement to join them on a permanent basis. 

The College:

Staff and students of our client are once again continuing the successful trend of recent years and are currently celebrating an outstanding 100% pass rate at Level 3 with over 83% of students achieving high grades in their BTEC qualifications (equivalent to A* to B across 3 A Levels). The College is also celebrating its first set of A Level results for several years, demonstrating an amazing 100% pass rate.

The Role:

· To manage, plan, develop, implement and evaluate the engagement of employers and the work of staff delivering Work Based Learning, including quality assurance, staff development (within a budget), appraisal, teaching observation, scheduling of classes and cover arrangements.
· To plan, develop, implement and evaluate the curriculum in collaboration with CM, making changes as necessary in liaison with the Vice Principal.
· To liaise with the Marketing Director to identify local education, training and skills needs for Work based learning
· To work with the Marketing Director to ensure the college meets its recruitment targets through targeted marketing, communications and publicity.

What you will need:

· An appropriate academic or professional qualification at degree or higher degree level 
· Level 2 qualification in Maths and English 
· A Teaching and/or assessors qualification
· Strong leadership and management experience
· Wide experience of delivering and managing Work Based Learning 
· Knowledge, understanding and experience of employer engagement and full cost provision
· A high degree of motivation to succeed and to lead and achievement of success
