A top Restaurant chain are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Controller to join their busy finance team and take ownership of all aspects of invoicing and credit control across the Group.

Based in the West End this well known Leisure company need an out going individual with solid billing and credit controller experience. As the Accounts Receivable Controller your main duties will include the following:

  • Working alongside the Corporate sales team regarding group sales and bookings by corporate customers.

  • Credit checks on new customers.

  • Raise invoices for corporate clients.

  • Dealing with chasing debt, allocating prepayments.

  • Raising invoices for normal trade accounts which are not part of corporate sales.

  • Raising the rent, service charges and insurance invoices to tenants, for quarterly and monthly rents.

  • Working closely with the property team to understand if there are new properties and what the terms of the sublet are.

  • Letting the property team know if there are any difficulty with tenants.

  • Working alongside the procurement and finance teams to ensure billing of suppliers is correct and up to date.

  • Building relationships with suppliers

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of all customer ledgers across the various brands.

  • Working with finance team on bad debt provisions and write-offs.
  • Working with the cash book and cash control team to ensure all control accounts are cleared and under control.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience using an ERP system like JD Edwards
  • Good Excel skills
  • Knowledge of property and rentals would be advantageous
  • A good understanding of UK VAT
