Are you an experienced Payroller currently working within a high volume environment? Are you looking to work within a client facing role with excellent variety?

Sheridan Maine Public Practice is currently working with a Top 100 listed firm of accountants based in central Southampton who are offering a permanent Payroll Administrator job as a result of company growth.

Operating within the public practice sector, this firm boasts a growing Payroll department that focuses on providing clients with an additional service alongside the traditional audit, accounts preparation and taxation offering. This department boasts a positive approach with strong client contact and the autonomy to achieve your own goals and aspirations.

The Payroll Administrator position will include:

- Processing payrolls for a portfolio of clients within agreed timeframes.
- Working directly with statutory deductions including but not limited to SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP and redundancy.
- Administering pension contributions, holiday pay and other payroll adjustments.
- Dealing with all HMRC queries and providing reporting directly through RTI.
- Administer Auto Enrolment setup and post staging processes.
- Opportunity to offer support to the Outsourcing team during peak times.

As a successful applicant you will have prior experience of working within a payroll environment, ideally with either high volumes or a multi payroll background. You will understand PAYE and National Insurance limits and the wider impact of a tax code.
