Due to continued business strong performance we now have an opening for a Business Development Manager within our team at Pendragon Vehicle Management; the corporate leasing and fleet management division of Pendragon PLC, Europe’s largest Motor Group.

You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities across your designated territory. You will have the ability to successfully research and target new business prospects, building and managing relationships from initial meetings through to new customer status, working closely with the Relationship Management Team to ensure the on-boarding process runs smoothly and professionally. We have recently implemented a brand new, industry leading IT platform system with a customer web portal and enjoy a long standing customer base with many recognisable brands.

Your keen commercial awareness will ensure that you become aware of all opportunities available within the market place and make sure that Pendragon Vehicle Management is invited to participate in all new tender and business opportunities, whilst maximising the business won and achieving or exceeding defined business objectives.  

Previous experience in a new business development role in the automotive fleet or finance industry is essential. The successful candidate will evidence significant experience of identifying, prospecting and securing new business. An expert in gaining business commitments, achieving targets and exceeding business objectives. You must have a thorough understanding of the B2B sales process from start to finish displaying excellent interpersonal, negotiation & influencing skills and be conversant with a solutions type sales environment, gained from within another leasing company within the FN50.
