My client is looking for a Deputy Manager for their home based in the Chichester area. My client is an established residential provider who is committed in their investment to provide quality therapeutic care to enable growth in the children & young people they work with. You must hold a Level 3 in Children or Young people or the Diploma Level 3 equivalent and have supervisory experience.

This is a full time role and the salary is £22-24k per annum depending on experience and up to an additional £4k could be paid for sleep overs.

You will be responsible for the health, safety and emotional wellbeing of the children and young people on a day to day basis through the provision of a caring, progressive environment for the children living in the care home. Whilst being sensitive to the individuals cultural, racial, linguistic, religious or other needs. To support the child's development under the direction of the manager by contributing to the child's social wellbeing through care plans, and participating in its delivery as a member of a co-ordinated multidisciplinary team.

Work directly with the young people; work both individually and within groups to ensure that all physical, emotional, psychological, educational, recreational and social needs are met. Maintain the individual rights of the children and young people, including the rights to privacy and dignity. Recording the Information; Prepare accurate and concise records, letters and reports relating to the young people in our care. Complete all daily administrative duties such as daily confidential log, daily diary sheets, placement, educational, recreational and activity plans and any other required paperwork. Supervise the staff team ensuring they are robust, completed fully, signed and any issues are brought to the managers attention.
