Data Compliance Auditor

Based from home covering predominantly Home Counties.

Salary circa £35,000 to £40,000 plus car allowance and travel expenses.

Our client is a leading specialist within the data control market, helping customers to get the greatest value from their data assets. Amongst other services, our client offers contractual audit services, designed to protect their IPR and the value of their data products.

As part of a planned expansion, our client is seeking to recruit an additional auditor, who will be working with key customers and third parties, confirming that data is used only in accordance with contractual limits and identifying any issues that might affect the revenue or reputation of the customers.

The role:

· The role is field based, covering the UK, sometimes further afield, visiting the office in Buckinghamshire when required, probably once a month.

· Reading and understanding a contract or licence agreement

· Liaising with product resellers to arrange audit dates

· Working with key customers and completing audits to fit contractual agreements

· Creating comprehensive reports for the customer, covering usage, management, training and control, amongst others.

· Give feedback to resellers and owners to cover results and any issues identified

Suitable applicants:

· Will either have a background in contractual audits, perhaps with a list broker or marketing agency.

· Or have a data compliance, information governance, information secrurity or DPO, Data Protection Officer back ground and be keen to make the move to external audits, full training would be provided.

· You will be able to understand and interpret complex legal documents and have a good eye for detail

· Need excellent interpersonal skills as you will be visiting organisations, representing the data source

· You will have the ability to understand complex issues and explain them simply and concisely as required.

· You will have confidence, tenacity, curiosity and a determination to get to the bottom of things.

· Naturally, you will be organised and methodical.
