Brief Outline:

Business Development Manager - M&E/Hard Service Sales - £40,000-£45,000 - London. This is a great opportunity to join a growing FM business in Greater London with an established track record, an in house M&E / Hard Services Maintenance team, support from marketing and estimating professionals and a real ambition to grow and develop over the coming months and years.

About the Client:

An established Facilities Management Group with a portfolio of properties / contracts across Greater London. They service end user clients as well as large Property Consultancies and provide a range of hard and soft services including Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance (core service offering), Fire & Security Coverage (another core offering), Reception Services and Cleaning Services (growth areas in the business.) The company has a fantastic reputation for high quality service delivery and they would like to strengthen their commercial and operational capabilities through the appointment of an experienced Business Development Professional who can generate and convert new business leads for the provision of M&E / Hard Services Planned and Reactive Maintenance across the Greater London Area, working with End Users, Property Agencies, Property Management Consultancies, Architects and Main Contractors.

About the Role:

* To increase Sales Revenue by generating new business - particularly in Mechanical & Electrical services.
* Identify and implement ways to generate sales leads identify and target customers who may require our services.
* Work alongside marketing/sales on strategy going forward
* Negotiate pricing for new contracts to ensure a profitable outcome
* Close deals Sales reporting and updating of company database.

About the Candidate:

* Preferably 2 years'+ experience in B2B M&E sales, particularly PPM Service Contracts
* Target driven and previous track record of exceeding new business targets.
* Good written and spoken communication skills
* Proactive, learn quickly and be a strong negotiator
* Organised with good IT Skills
* Self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic
* Ability to generate new leads, follow up and secure new business and contracts
* Our client offers various services therefore the target market is not one specific sector.
* You will need to become competent in selling all of our offerings across different sectors but particularly corporate offices.
* You will be communicating with various decision makers, so it is essential that you are fluent in English.
* Our target market is SME's within the London area therefore to fully access our target customer you will be required to generate some leads by going door to door / B2B where you will have the opportunity to speak to many of the decision makers directly.
* This is a small part of the role as we have marketing data available.
* Sales experience is required, although training will be provided on our products and services.
