- THE COMPANY;

- Our client is a rapidly expanding supplier of internal and external, commercial and domestic lighting products.

- Products include; commercial lighting, used in offices, car parks, warehouses, residential buildings, construction sites, retail and hospitality, outdoor lighting, ceiling lights, bathroom and kitchen lights, lamps and bulbs. Due to growth, they are looking to add further sales people to the team.

- THE ROLE;

- Selling commercial lighting, used in offices, car parks, warehouses, residential buildings, construction sites, retail and hospitality, outdoor lighting, ceiling lights, bathroom and kitchen lights, lamps and bulbs.

- Selling to Electrical Wholesalers, both national and independent and lighting retailers. On occasion, you will create interest on site with the contractor and backsell through your stockist and distributor.

- There are approximately 80 live accounts on the territory currently, but you will be the 1st designated sales professional on the territory. Excellent marketing support is offered.

- Your role will be to develop those existing accounts, build the relationships with each branch at management and sales assistant level, as well as target new wholesalers and lighting retailers and lighting distributors, both national and independent.

- You will be covering the South East of England, being Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, London, Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

- THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;

- You will have worked for or sold to either electrical wholesalers, electrical retailers, lighting manufacturers, lighting retailers, or perhaps worked for an electrical contractor.

- You will be ambitious, as this role could lead to Key Account Management in time.

- You will be a good team player, IT literate, organised, professional, able to journey plan.

- This would suit a field sales executive at a national or independent electrical wholesaler, looking to specialise in the lighting industry.

- THE REMUNERATION;

- Basic salary of £30,000- £38,000

- £3k bonus for hitting target and then an accelerated commission over target, giving achievable earnings of £5k+ on top.

- Further payments for opening new accounts, then further payments once they've hit a certain spend.

- 20 days holiday, rising to 25 in year 2
