Accounts Administrator: Covering Purchase/Sales Ledgers

Hours: 25-28 per week, negotiable

Main Responsibilities:

Processing Goods for Resale invoices/Credit Notes for all business sites;

Processing Sales Ledger Cash/BACS receipts onto customer ledger;

Printing off Purchase Ledger invoices;

Dealing with all queries relating to purchase invoices, including checking stock,

shortages and Price Queries and any other discrepancies;

Reconciliation of Supplier statements.

General duties including Post & Filing.

Skills Required:

A sound understanding of both Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger bookkeeping;

Excellent communications skills, dealing with internal and external people and calls;

Strong Excel and Word skills;

Confident with accounting software.

Dennys Uniforms is a family company with a turnover of approximately £9million, based in Leatherhead Surrey and employing 70 staff. Our Accounts department is a small friendly office of 6 people. The staff include, Financial Director, Accounts Managers, Credit Controller

and Accounts Administrator. The office covers all aspects of accounts from statutory and management accounts to Sales and Purchase Ledger and Credit Control.

Hours for the ideal candidate are negotiable

Salary £19K pro rata to £12,700
