Location: United Kingdom, home office also possible

Travel requirement: 50%,whole country

Main objectives of this position:

Make sure to reach sales and income targets in the UK. As Off-Highway Country Sales Team

Leader you will be coach of the team members. Based on the right organization you will establish

good customer relationship and a good service level for all different customers. This will build the

basis for profitable growth in the designated country and defined global key account(s) and

contribute to our client’s reputation as a leading brand.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and margin in the respective country and key account(s)
  • Building the most effective and efficient organization, develop team spirit
  • Coaching of all team members
  • Challenge people to exceed their capabilities and to look for sales opportunities
  • Develop skills of team members, at least one potential team leader
  • Regular sales meetings and customer visits with sales reps
  • Continuous improvement of processes
  • Implement Group BE Strategy, Build Operating- and Business Plans, input to the strategy plan
  • Define and structure tasks and activities to implement Operating Plan and to reach targets
  • Own forecast for your customers

Key account management

  • Build very good customer relationship
  • Establish routine contacts at various levels of the customer organization
  • Collect the voice of the customer and translate it into our client requirements
  • Develop and implement customer strategies
  • Translate customer strategies into operating plan objectives for the defined key account(s)
  • Lead the request for quotation process for all customer requests
  • Develop and implement sales growth strategies
  • Ensure the organization is responsive to customer needs, expectations and requests
  • Drive and support key account initiatives
  • Lead all negotiations with customers / support key account negotiations
  • Deliver consistently high service levels across the value chain

Your profile:

  • Business management or engineering degree
  • Sales & Marketing experience (>5 years), preferably in Automotive sector, Off-Highway or Commercial vehicle industry
  • People management experience
  • Fluent English language skills required; knowledge of other European language (e.g. German, French, Polish) is an asset
  • Willingness to travel
  • Business acumen
  • Good team player
  • Good understanding of the local market
  • International mindset (think global, act local)
