Salary
The Technical Service Engineer will receive a base salary around £19-25k, dependent on candidate capabilities, plus benefits including pension, health care etc

Skills / Qualifications
As a prospective Technical Service Engineer the more of the following "boxes" you can tick, the better is your chance of being selected for interview:-

• A technical qualification such as City & Guilds 224, NVQ / ONC / OND / HNC / HND or degree in Electronics
• Previous experience of carrying out repairs to electronic equipment (knowledge / experience of medical devices would be a bonus but is not essential)
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong time management and personal organisation skills
• Multi-tasking capability and high personal standards

Role
As Technical Service Engineer your key responsibility will be to carry out preventative maintenance and repair of medical devices, mainly at the UK service centre and occasionally at customer sites when required. You will also ensure completion of all required paperwork, decontamination and cleaning of devices and assist with receiving and dealing with customer enquiries on the Technical Service Helpline.
