About the role:

A varied and challenging product marketing role requiring close collaboration and teamwork with colleagues around the world, you will be working across the English Language Teaching (ELT) Primary and Secondary Business Units. You will be working hand-in-hand with product marketing colleagues on product marketing strategy, and you will have a particular focus on coordinating, participating in, and interpreting product research activities. You will also be working very closely with publishers and editors, sharing responsibility and accountability for creating profitable and distinctive new materials. As this role is a key link between product development and sales and marketing, you will be contributing valuable insights and expertise from the research stages through to product launch and post-launch activities.

In short, the purpose of this role is to articulate the needs of the market and lead customer focus as an authoritative voice for selected segments, products and geographical territories, bringing this knowledge to new product development, and to help prepare and deliver marketing plans and training support for a new generation of market-leading products.

About you:

You should be an experienced, customer-focused senior-level marketing manager, looking to take on a challenging role that spans the Primary and Secondary ELT product lines. We are looking for a confident, capable and experienced communicator, just as comfortable talking to large audiences of knowledgeable customers and sales teams, as you are writing clear, succinct reports and customer-facing marketing messaging.

You should have a solid understanding of the principles of marketing, be highly numerate and prepared to undertake data analysis, and also capable of informing innovative and effective marketing campaigns that will resonate with students, teachers and high-level decision makers. You will be working closely with other marketing managers, so a high level of good interpersonal communication skills is a must. Ideally you will have come from a publishing and/or an English Language Teaching (ELT) background or have had some experience in this area.

About us:

Our global not-for-profit organisation is committed to the advancement of knowledge worldwide through our exciting publishing programme. You will be joining a diverse and collaborative workforce and you will be supported in your career ambitions to achieve your potential.

Help us achieve our mission, and you will have a career that is not only hugely satisfying but brings with it great benefits and a stimulating, supportive and flexible working environment.
