You will start in the business as an associate/trainee level, where the business will provide you with an excellent and highly structured training programme and the opportunity to become ceMAP qualified - which is the certificate in mortgage advice and practice. The training course and exam will be fully funded by the organisation and will provide you with a professional and industry recognised qualification. As your development progresses with the organisation you will advance to Advisor level and then Expert level. Throughout this journey you will be trained further in the ceMAP qualification - parts 2 and 3, to progress your skills and understanding of the industry and your ability to advise your customers. There are further career opportunities to progress to Team Manager, Section Manager, Trainer/Coach, where the only real limit is how far you want to develop and grow.

You will be working in a vibrant, dynamic and a professionally regulated environment, which is team based, highly supportive and has an excellent culture. There is absolutely no cold calling with this role, you will be responding to customer service enquiries from a variety of on-line and off-line sources where your diverse range of customers are genuinely looking for a mortgage. Your role will be to provide them with the professional advice and guidance to secure the best mortgage possible. The Role

  • Generate a consistently high level of quality activity to meet and/or exceed agreed activity targets.
  • To gather all appropriate information so that the most suitable financial advice can be provided.
  • Achieving financial targets by providing expert advice backed up by excellent customer service.
  • To exercise customer care and consideration in accordance with at least the companies agreed performance standards.
  • To fully and properly document calls to achieve or exceed the company’s performance standards.
  • To provide the service and care to the company’s customers such that builds relationships, trust and confidence and contains customer complaints.
  • To work towards Mortgage & Protection Adviser status, then expert level, by achieving required monitored calls and obtaining full CeMAP (CeMAP 1, 2 & 3.
  • To undertake any other task as required from time to time including administrative or sales related duties.

The Person

  • It is essential you have Maths & English GCSE grade "C" or above with 2 A Levels or equivalent.
  • You will either be degree qualified or have achieved excellent results at college.
  • Ideally you will have previous office, sales or customer service experience.
  • CeMap / CeFa level 1 exam would be advantageous, though not essential at all, you will be fully trained in this qualification with an exam prior to starting.
  • Hard-working self-starter attitude - the true success for this role is to work hard. If you are willing to listen and learn and work hard you can only achieve with this business. All the customer enquiries are stored in a central database system which you have full access to and you just need to work through the customer enquiries, there is no cold calling required, just calling customers who have a genuine requirement to secure a mortgage.
