Senior Supervising Social Worker - Fostering (6-12 month contract)
An reputable not for profit IFA with a 'Good’ Ofsted rating require a Senior Supervising Social Worker to join their successful and supportive team of staff on a full time, temporary basis. This position is for an initial period of 6 months which could potentially be extended to 12.
This organisation’s core work involves providing high quality and well supported fostering or adoptive families for children and young people in the care of local authorities. Working in partnership with local authorities from their offices across England, Wales and Scotland, they are dedicated to providing creative, effective and outcome-focused services. They also campaign on behalf of children and young people in care, carers and adoptive families.
The overall purpose of this role is to recruit, assess, train and support a diverse range of foster carers and placements. There is also an expectation to undertake Form F Assessments contributing to the development and growth of the organisation whilst providing high quality support and supervision to a small group of loyal foster carers.

To be considered for this position you must be a HCPC registered Social Worker with extensive post qualifying experience of working within fostering and adoption within either an IFA or local authority setting.
*Salary is £33,561 per annum, plus £3,439 London Weighting, plus £1,500 Out of Hours Allowance
