QUALITY ENGINEER - KENT - £25,000 - £28,000

A highly regulated organisation is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Kent on a permanent basis.

The core function of the role will be to continually improve primary and secondary packaging as part of the Quality team. You will assist in the Production and Manufacturing in achieving their quality objectives, creating and maintaining reports for monitoring.

In addition to this other responsibilities will be;
Review technical drawing including all Die-lines, Artwork Templates and technical approvals for both cartoons and labels.
Assist in any improvement changes
Use problem solving tools to investigate non - conformance NCR's and CAPA's

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to be qualified in an Engineering discipline or having served an apprenticeship within an Engineering Manufacturing environment. Candidates that have experience working within a GMP environment or similar highly regulated industry e.g Medical device, Pharmaceuticals etc will be very advantageous.

In addition to this candidates will have proven experience with problem solving tools I.e. 5 Whys, Cu sums. Pareto, Cause and Affect Analysis (Fish Bone).

It would be advantageous if candidates have knowledge of using statistical software and using 3 axis measurement machines.

This is a days based role based in Kent and is commutable from Gillingham, Dartford, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Ashford, Canterbury, Royal Tunbridge Wells and other areas across Kent, London and the South East.
