Our client are a leading Technology based company and due to recent growth of the business they are looking to recruit an experienced German Speaking Credit Controller to join there team based in Warrington.

The primary purpose of the role is to work as part of a team, providing comprehensive, accurate and timely accounting service, taking ownership of a portfolio of accounts and ensuring that payments are issued in accordance with company terms and conditions

Main Duties:

  • Have full responsibility for specific accounts ensuring customer settles debt in accordance with agreed terms and conditions and credit control procedures.
  • Effectively dealing with customer account queries/complaints, including liaising with other departments, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Contact customers to agree all invoices are received and approved for payment.
  • Effectively respond to all financial reconciliation in timely manner.
  • All receipts to be posted and allocated to sales ledger transactions on a daily basis - unallocated receipts to be minimal.
  • To inform the Credit Manager immediately of all important developments / problems and report on status of Customer accounts on a regular basis.
  • Effectively respond to all financial reconciliation in timely manner.
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management.
  • Ensuring monthly statements are prepared, reconciled and ready for posting by the 5th working day of each month.
  • Ensure reporting and credit limit reviews are done on timely manner.

Due to the role dealing with our clients German Customers it is essential that only candidates who are fluent in both written and spoken German apply

You will ideally have experience of working within a similar Credit Control background and experience in an electronics or similar fast based environment would be advantageous.

Skills/ competencies

  • Intermediate level in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence and assertiveness and the ability to work within a team
  • Ability to work against defined monthly targets, both individual and team based.
  • Fluent in German.
