KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
My client is a highly reputable UK national law firm specialising in advising both public and private sector clients across a range of disciplines. They have made impressive investment into their business development and marketing function over the last year and are now looking to add a new Key Account Manager, who will be based in their Nottingham office. The first role of its type at the firm, the Key Account Manager will be the client relationship and growth manager for one of the firm's biggest public sector clients.
As Key Account Manager, you will be the direct contact for the client on a daily basis. The client has recently gone through management change and thus the Key Account Manager will coordinate and deliver response to the increased demand for marketing support and industry knowledge. Strong business development skills are key as you will also be responsible for driving all cross-selling initiatives for the client, ensuring to create a truly holistic view through the firm and consequently maximise revenue. You will also have the direct support of a client assistant that is currently in place.
The successful candidate will have client relationship management or key account experience, ideally within (or with exposure to) public sector. Experience in a law firm is not needed however you will be excellent at managing stakeholders both internally and externally, and able to demonstrate your understanding of working in a partnership environment.
This role will have the support of an assistant however management experience is not a prerequisite.
