Claims Coordinator - Customer Service 3 months

Recruitment Solutions Folkestone Ltd, are very excited to now be recruiting for our highly recognised leading claims outsourcing & loss adjusting Client within the local area of Ashford for a 3 month contract.

The Customer Service Team is responsible for the appointment of the Insurance approved Contractors, Operators and all other relevant Suppliers. The Customer Service Team will manage & own the Policyholder and Client journey throughout the entire reinstatement process to completion in accordance with Client requirements and Group policies and procedures.

This position will suit candidates who have experience in customer care, financial services, legal or the Insurance industry (A CIP, ACII, FIT or degree would be desirable). Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

All about the Role!

To ensure that all claims are handled in accordance with Client requirements and Group policies and procedures.

To effectively undertake work allocated to you by your Team Leader

Ensure the efficient handling of the Customer and Client journey of the reinstatement process by managing the company’s approved suppliers, ensuring that SLAs are, understood and adhered to.

Own and manage the Policyholder and Client from first notification through to satisfactory completion, responsible for the appointed approved Suppliers facilitating the reinstatement works

The first line of support to all approved suppliers and will own and manage individual cases, taking responsibility and accountability for managing the

Customer and Client throughout, ensuring that that they receive high quality customer care and support at all times whilst dealing with the reinstatement process of the Insurance claim.

To provide support to the Technical Team when required.

Ensure all work tasks are completed to the required standard

Obtain authorisation of claims outside level of authority

Handle claims in line with client specifications, set delegated authority limits and the appropriate service standards while providing a high level of customer care

Ensure sound level knowledge of Client SLA

Provide a first class customer service

Actively promote the principle of Treating Customer Fairly

All candidates are required to have 4 GCSEs, grades C and above (inc Maths and English) or an equivalent qualification. A CIP, ACII, FIT or degree would be desirable but not essential.
