Account Handler required in Cambridge to join a small team during a period of growth. Full time, permanent position offering an attractive salary up to £25,000 but this will depend on experience. This role will offer the opportunity to study your CII qualification as well as ongoing training.

This particular role will be in their personal lines department dealing with existing customers.

Duties to include:

  • Advising and liaising with existing customers, Insurers and Account Executives via telephone, post and internet

  • Customer Renewals

  • Approaching and negotiating quotations with Insurance Underwriters

  • Dealing with customer enquires in a professional manner

  • Reviewing policies

  • Producing report summaries

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Ideally you will have experience using CDL systems although full training on systems will be given.

Person specification:

  • 2 years’ experience in an insurance role

  • Excellent face to face and telephone communication skills

  • The ability to enhance customer relationships

  • To work enthusiastically as part of a team and independently

  • Confident with Word, Excel and internal Sirius system
