A Maintenance Engineer job in Leicester paying up to £40k. Permanent night shift. Electrical Bias preferred.

A well known and reputable manufacturer in Leicester is going from strength to strength. Due to an increase in production and future expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work a permanent night shift.
Your new role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role requires you to work as part of a team to maintain the efficiency of all mechanical and electrical production equipment. You'll be maintaining a range of bespoke manufacturing equipment in addition to the repair and replacement of equipment including Motors; Gearboxes; Bearings; Sprockets; Chains; and Conveyor systems. You'll work independently and as part of a team to achieve department objectives. You're understanding and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electrical systems will be a key part of your role.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be apprentice trained and have previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment. Ideally, you will be electrically biased. You'll have demonstrable skills in fault diagnosis on Servo systems, encoders, amplifiers and ball-screw repairs. You'll have a strong level of experience working on Pneumatics & Hydraulics as well as PLC's including AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Modicon. You're competent reading Engineering Schematics and MIG / TIG welding. You are ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance with 17th Edition qualification.
