Purpose of the business

Key Performance Areas

Basic key performance areas have been identified and must be undertaken in an accurate, efficient and timely fashion. These are the minimum requirements only and are not exhaustive for the role.

  1. Estimating:

Provide a proactive, effective and efficient estimating function for customers and internal teams.

Preparation of accurate quotations for submission to customers (75% of Projects)

Preparation of tender quality layouts for submission to customer (75% of Projects)

Review, evaluate, prioritize and manage workload.

Liaise with the sales team to discuss and implement strategies to secure business.

  1. Design:

Provide a proactive, effective and efficient design function for customers and internal teams.

Preparation of accurate schedules for submission to customers (75% of Projects)

Preparation of construction quality layouts and associated detail for submission to customers (75% of Projects)

Review, evaluate, prioritize and manage workload.

Ensure all work provides best possible financial return to the business. (Value Engineering)

  1. Operations:

Provide accurate and timely information to satisfy sales demand for customers and internal teams.

Preparation of accurate information for manufacture (75% of Projects)

Preparation of construction quality layouts to present with all deliveries (75% of Projects)

Review, evaluate, prioritize and manage workload.

Review all work for accuracy, efficiency and quality.

Liaise with Estimating & Design Team Leader and internal operational teams to deliver sales demand.

  1. System:

Ensure correct use of internal systems and processes.

Maintain and ensure the correct and timely use of MBA or equivalent.

Maintain and ensure the correct and timely use of other internal systems.

  1. Personal Management:

Manage and develop personal performance.

Planning, setting and prioritizing objectives and reviewing progress to meet personal and organizational goals.

Providing and transferring information effectively and in the most appropriate format.

Undertake regular review meetings with management team to report on performance, problems and solutions.
