Hospitality Talent and Acquisition Specialist - Gloucester / Cheltenham

To £30,000 DOE

If so this is an amazing opportunity and a new role my client is creating.

Working for a small group of uniquely placed properties around the UK and in Europe my client is looking for a Talent Acquisition and Training Development Specialist.

Initially your primary focus would be looking after Talent, Recruitment and Development of staff in their Gloucestershire property. However as the role grows you are then likely to expand your remit to include the other properties one at a time.

My client prides themselves on creating a unique urban retreat experience for their guests in this superbly stylised property. The service is effortless, yet high in attention to detail and where you will only experience the highest culinary standards.

The role

My client is looking for someone who can ensure the team stay, grow and develop helping to forge the vision of the group.

Some key aspects role will include:

Embracing for all areas of recruitment from looking at department needs with each HOD, working in line budgets, advertise jobs, do initially CV reads and interviews and then feedback to the department managers with recommendations. One of your key aims will be to reduce recruitment agency spend.

You will be at the focal point of creating policies, processes, procedures and handbooks.

Creating an induction program that ensures every new employee understands the culture and brand.

Helping to promote the brand through all platforms of social media.

Assisting with the management of rotas and holidays and manage absence.

To support to the managers on employee relations and performance management cases

Support and manage the talent review systems from chatting with the team over coffee and cake, to driving annual reviews and career development.

Who is my client looking for:

My client has no fixed ideal candidate but this candidate could:

Be working as an internal /in-house recruiter within hospitality and looking to broaden their current role

Be a recruitment consultant within the hospitality sector and ideally someone who has had hands on experience of working / managing within this sector

A hospitality manager ie: F&B, Front of House / Reception Manager - who is keen to take their career in a slightly different direction

A CIPD qualified professional who is genuinely passionate about hospitality
