The SF Group is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a business in Burton to cover a maternity contract. On site parking is available for all employees. You will be part of a small finance team and will report into the Head of Accounts.
As the Accounts Assistant you will be required to cover a variety of accounts tasks which include; chasing over due debt via phone and email, setting up new accounts, cash allocation, credit checking accounts as well as looking after bought ledger, cash reconciliations, VAT preparation and being a general support in the accounts team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be looking for a contract assignment and will be able to commit to the length of the contract which will more than likely be between 15 and 18 months. You must have strong experience covering a varied accounts role, good communication skills and strong IT skills. An approachable, reliable and committed individual is required for this expanding business.
