My client is a global conference business specialising in Data based events around the globe, due to continued growth a role has arisen for a Senior Manager for CRM & Data…

  • to proactively manage sales and marketing data
  • to provide insight into customer and prospect trends and
  • to support all sales and marketing activities.

This would incorporate data acquisition, maintenance and governance. The role will be pivotal across the company and will support the clients master data management capabilities.

Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will be able to recommend new software and lead data projects, be highly analytical, proactive and capable of developing working relationships at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of lead management, including the development and improvement of a lead scoring system that ranks prospective clients & delegates and directs the sales / delegates team focus.
  • Online research to seek new lead channels working to a priority list of territories/industries to target lead searches.
  • Monitor the quality and duplication levels of the data within CVENT and any new CRM software
  • Liaise with 3rd Party Data providers to negotiate and purchase new datasets that meet business requirements
  • Assist in data cleansing of existing leads and contacts in database or the process of outsourcing and managing integration with external suppliers.
  • Create and distribute weekly KPI reports to monitor Sponsorship and Delegate performance
  • Help with daily administration of existing and new leads into CRM/ CVENT/ Adestra
  • Working autonomously to identify areas of opportunity and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in creating and fine tuning and algorithm to prioritise leads according to business need.
  • Distribute leads amongst the business units to ensure that each sales/delegates team have a source of high quality, prioritised and qualified leads.
  • Data segmentation and manipulation for marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring the database to ensure accuracy and identify trends where there may be missing key data.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manipulate data quickly and efficiently using Excel, Access and/or SQL
  • Experience in events and publishing industry would be a bonus
  • Familiar with marketing automation and CRM software
  • A knowledge of data laws and legislation would be beneficial
  • Degree qualified or equivalent preferable
