Job Title: Claim Adjudicator

Our client based in West Swindon are looking for an experienced Claims Adjudicator/Administrator to act as intermediary with their Dealers and Clients and administrate, process and approve all claims for service and repair work on their commercial vehicles. As the successful candidate you will have a strong technical background/knowledge within the commercial vehicle industry, good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and be competent in the MS Office suite.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for administering, authorising and processing of UK claims for all work undertaken by the authorised MTB-UK Dealer Network

Responsibilities:

  • To adjudicate and process all claims/approvals/authorisation requests, reject incorrect/ invalid claims, authorise service/repair work as set out in the R & M policy and procedure document in a timely manner
  • Ensure correct statutory inspection service schedules are adhered to
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to defects/repair/procedural queries
  • Ensure vehicle repair cost comply with the manufacturer labour codes and times, and that the parts used are correct for the repair undertaken
  • Monitor non-franchised supplies of parts/services to ensure cost effective repair solutions on contractual vehicles
  • Ensure all claims authorised or adjudicated do not qualify for a Warranty contribution based on the terms and conditions in force at the time
  • To achieve all stated department KPI's and maintain focus on all company financial objectives
  • To monitor and record any non-conformance of the quality systems and implement and record the required corrective and preventative action within your area of responsibility
  • To ensure compliance and show commitment to all laid down procedures and company directive
  • To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner

Required experience:

  • Previous experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Served technical apprenticeship and/or engineering qualification preferred
  • Full driving licence
  • Valid work permit

Specific knowledge:

  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle statutory maintenance regulations
