UK Sales Manager for an Appliance Manufacturer
Company is fairly new to the UK but a well-established Western Europe based manufacturer

Overview
Looking for Dynamic, Outgoing, Curious and Versatile candidates; with very strong Self-Motivation and strong Ambition.
Someone able to understand the real opportunity to grow together with us in the UK market and to join the board once they succeed.

Package
Basic salary: Ideally c.£35,000 - but dependent on experience of candidate and candidate's current package, max £40,000.

On Target Earnings + 30% based on targets, with the potential to guarantee in full for the first 3 months

Car Allowance + Monthly Expenses

UK Wide - however candidates will be considered that are living in the Midlands or South of the UK, as the majority of target accounts head offices are South East of England based.

The 2 main brands you will be representing are part of a larger Group; the most successful all round company in their niche area of the Appliance market place. They have more than a 50% market share of their home country's market place.
They export mainly in Western and Eastern Europe.
Over the last 10 years the group have gone from strength to strength, with impressive growth and backing.
The company manufacture for commercial and domestic markets.

Job Specification
The role is very much a Sales role; a new role, part of Company expansion, to develop the UK market.
So, plenty of opportunity to build up business!
Targeting key accounts - high street retailers primarily and also online - such as John Lewis Partnership, DSG, etc.
The role will involve sales to these National Accounts, plus developing other sales streams - maybe independent retailers, the kitchens channel, and even the professional channel, through the 5 brands and 140 products available.
Organising logistics with their partner company. Stock will be managed by logistics department at head office. So the role will involve checking the order progress to inform the account, monitoring reported stock levels in the UK, etc.
Sales development of key account business in the UK.
Control of the after-sales service partner (already established in the UK).
There are several appliance groups in the company - so can expand sales of others in the future too.

Person Specification
The person would need to show the ability to bring on new National Account business; they do not need to have done it before; the right personality - dynamic, outgoing, curious and versatile is most important; with very strong self-motivation and strong ambition
3+ years of field sales experience
Will consider product backgrounds such as: Major Domestic Appliances, Small Domestic Appliances and other Electrical Appliances.
Looking for someone able to understand the real opportunity to grow together with the Company in the UK market and to join the board once they succeed; more than someone already installed in a comfort of business.

Example of this role introduced into another country and how this UK role could develop too:
9 years ago they took on a gentleman in a similar country as Sales Manager. He was and still is a very motivated individual, with the motivation to work at 120% a day.
After 4 years was able to have access to buy shares and equity in the Company and multiply at short term the value. He is someone who takes it as a personal mission to achieve success!

He works from home as Sales Manager. After a few months he'd developed contacts very well. Then they put stock in the country and introduced the aftersales service (for reference there is already an aftersales service in the UK). The manager is now assisted by a sales admin and supply chain person.
Today the guy is invoicing €1.9million in his country per annum. But that is in a country where the economy is still fairly depressed. In another country, without any direct representation there, they already invoice €1.5million!
Once turnover in the UK surpassed €1million, the Sales Manager would then put a Business plan for future growth to the board and he would support this Business plan with the person and put forward to the Group.
Like in other countries; the person could also go into agent agreements too with Kitchen sales agents.
