The key objective of the FC is to proactively support the finance team in day-to-day and project objectives. Key areas of skills required include;
- Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger
- Financial reporting in line with IFRS
- Foreign currency and hedging management
- Developing IT systems and MI outputs
- Consolidating forecasts and budgets
- Management and statutory accounts
Personality is critical for this appointment, with the key competencies being;
- Change Management
- Engaging and influencing
Other key skills are;
- Qualified (ideally ACA or ACCA)
- Large company background
- Technically exceptional
