Full/Part Qualified Accountant
My client was established in 1994 and they continue to build on their reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to business and personal clients. Focusing on clients in the local community and service businesses, small and large, across varying sectors including:
• the professions
• the service sector
• the construction industry
The company are now seeking to recruit a new member to join their team in the Battle office.
They are looking for an experienced accounts person who can work with a varied range of clients, processing monthly/quarterly/annual records leading to VAT returns, annual accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks, sage and Iris accounts package are essential and is the use of Microsoft Excel.
Ideally you will have come from a practice background.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Compiling VAT returns
Dealing with phone and email queries from existing and potential clients.
Act as the Account Manager and be accountable for your clients.
Ensure your clients’ statutory filing obligations are met on time.
Prepare Company Accounts, Tax Returns and other Accounting documents.
Preferably be ACCA full or part qualified but MAAT qualification as a minimum.
Have superior customer service skills.
Highly presentable and professional.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be willing to learn.
Be team orientated.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate excellent time management.
Be proficient in QuickBooks, Sage and Iris Accounts and Excel
