01729 - INTERNAL SALES CONSULTANT POOLE - ?18,000 - ?20,000 PA PLUS COMMISSION Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Internal Sales Consultant This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leader with in the medical device industry.The role and responsibilities:

As part of the Sales team, this position reports to the Sales Director and works closely with the Field Sales Team, Marketing Team, the Service Division and the Management Team based in Head Office. The role is based in Poole.Job Description

º Research and contact existing and prospective customers, qualify leads and arrange suitable appointments for the Field Sales Teamº Contact, develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and source leads for quotation and closing of salesº Data is held in our CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics and is supplemented by external information as appropriate. You are also expected to source your own information and update the CRM system. You are required to research existing and prospective companies to obtain contact details and basic operating informationº Develop strong business and product knowledge and use to inform and engage current and potential customers about the company brand

Key Tasks

º Qualify leads in line with our target sales campaigns and incoming enquiries and work on these to completion where possible. Where a customer visit is identified, pass these to the Field Sales Team to contact the customer and book the appointmentº Establish new relationships by researching, adding and developing new customersº Maintain and take ownership of existing customer relationships, in particular, those which are not actively visited by the Field Sales Teamº Collate information on prospective customers, even where an appointment is not obtainedº Actively manage the customer database to ensure information is accurate and kept up to date for direct sales campaigns. Identify and manage all opportunitiesº Log all calls in CRM and monitor success ratesº Review your activity level and ensure it remains with set targets at all timesº Follow-up specific marketing and sales campaignsº Work with the marketing team to deliver our key messages and ensure the brand is represented correctly at each stage of the sales processº Work with Field Sales Team to support them in achieving our sales objectivesº Represent us in an accurate and positive manner on the phoneº Send out company information to potential customers when necessary

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following areas:

º Intelligent and quick witted, able to rapidly assimilate existing and new products and servicesº Excellent oral communication skills and superb listening skillsº Easily able to take leads through to sales completionº Professional phone manner with a consultative approach and tone of voiceº Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasksº Confident in overcoming rejection and setting challenging goals on a daily basisº Must be able to work accurately, under pressure, to meet strict deadlinesº Interpersonal skills to work with staff across the whole companyº Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

DesirableA-level or Graduate level education or equivalent


º Demonstrable success in telesales, telemarketing and/or tele-research roles including setting appointments for Field Sales colleagues and following up opportunities to completion.º Experienced in calling at director level in enterprise class organisationsº Effective in exposing prospects' key business drivers and matching these to company capabilitiesº Have sufficient analytical experience to complete research that identifies relevant information on prospective customersº Commercially minded with experience of working to achieve targetsº Experience of working with contact databases (CRM systems)
