Manpower is partnering with a leading construction materials manufacturer in their search for an Area Sales Manager. Tasked with overseeing their key South West region, the Area Sales Manager will play an integral role in delivering the company's innovative flooring products to market.

The organisation has a well-established reputation for delivering high-quality flooring solutions to a diverse range of end users across the globe. Their products are used in some of the most famous construction projects, and the sales team is a crucial part of their success.

As an Area Sales Manager for the South West, you will be travelling extensively throughout the region, and your primary challenges will include:
*Identifying potential sales opportunities across the South West
*Developing lasting relationships by using a consultative sales approach
*Demonstrating in-depth product knowledge to tailor bespoke solutions to clients
*Generating specifications and proposals whilst working closely with the technical teams
*Providing a high level of service to customers both during and after projects
*Sourcing new leads whilst proactively selling other relevant areas of the business

In this field-based role, you will be given a comprehensive induction on the company's specialist flooring product range. The role will be best suited to someone that possesses the following skills and experience;
*A proven track record of sales within the construction chemicals industry (such as flooring, roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, concrete etc.)
*Demonstrable background of selling technical products
*Experience of developing new business across a region
*Previous experience of working to £million targets
*A history of selling technical products to the construction industry
*Ability to develop relationships quickly with a diverse range of stakeholders
*Commercially astute with a good understanding of the B2B sales process
*Experience of delivering CPDs and technical presentations (desirable)
