We are working with a really fast growing digital agency network which has created a fantastic working and social environment. They are keen to recruit a highly ambitious qualified accountant with strong experience of team management. You would be managing a central finance team of 15 people and working very closely with the Finance Directors across the agency brands and other key stake holders.

Our client is looking for someone who has long term goals in terms of eventually moving on to an operational FD position - so this is a unique opportunity for a candidate who has experience within commerce but is keen to establish a career within the media sector.


• Leading a finance team consisting of 4 direct reports to deliver accurate and timely management information
• Managing team to deliver core financial processes and controls for the organisation, including Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Treasury & Payroll.
• Key team member in delivering process improvements and implementation of supporting financial control processes
• Work closely and liaise with the other finance teams throughout the business to enable open communication and collaboration so as to ensure the provision of accurate and timely information
• Responsibility for running the full month end process and ensuring deadlines are met
• Audit management - Preparation of audit file and liaison with external Auditors
• Responsible for preparation of annual group statutory accounts
• Responsible for monthly group consolidation and submission to the US
• Responsible for review of group ledgers to ensure accuracy of balances and reporting, and support team in delivering reconciliations
• Co-ordinate with relevant parties on IC entries and resolve queries in line with month end deadlines
• Establish and maintain internal systems and controls to ensure the integrity of accounting systems, processes and data
• Reviewing and approving VAT / WHT / Statutory returns etc. before submission
• Working with the Treasury team to monitoring cash positioning and quarterly preparation of the Cash flow to EBITDA reconciliation
• Review and analysis of accounts as required.
• Provide adhoc support to business for finance related queries
• Provide support to the Head of Finance

Qualified ACCA or CIMA or ACA Qualified with at least 5 years post qualified experience
Strong experience of statutory accounting and able to oversee the statutory accounting for the network
Ability to develop new processes and procedures and enhance existing ones.
Good management skills - be able to develop, manage and inspire a team at a variety of skill levels
Excellent business partnering abilities - able to develop strong work relationships with senior finance stake holders and other directors of the business
