Business Development Manager - Up to £40k Basic Uncapped Commission / OTE £70k - £80k

Our client is a fast growing start up that provides Intellectual Property and Analytics Software (delivered via an innovative SAAS platform) for some of the world’s largest organisations.
About the role of Business Development Manager
As a Strategic Business Development Manager you will be focused on selling online solutions via a SAAS platform into any company that creates ideas or needs to protect their Intellectual Property.
There are no parameters around companies that need to protect their IP, meaning that this solution can be sold globally into any vertical.
You will be based out of the UK office in London selling predominantly across the UK & EMEA (the role will involve a mixture of phone sales and face to face selling along with web demonstrations selling into 'C’ level Exec’s).
There will be some inbound leads / trial requests to convent into sales and you will also be expected to prospect / develop your own client base and once a new prospect has been brought in they will be yours to grow and develop.
Commission is uncapped and the role offers the successful individual fantastic potential to double the base salary within the 1st year.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a fast paced, results orientated sales environment
- Experience of selling Business Information / Market Intelligence / Data / SAAS
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Skilled at identifying new sales prospects, cold calling, very tech savvy with an excellent telephone manner and great face to face presentation abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Degree educated
