The Role: The successful Area Sales Manager will be selling into the education sector (universities in the main) and also to industrial end users and manufacturers. This role is an even split between account management and business development, and you will be talking to buyers, quality managers and directors. Managing a well performing area, the new area sales manager will be handling sales deals averaging £50k and will also benefit from excellent training and an uncapped commission scheme which pays out on all revenue.

They have just promoted an Area Sales Manager hence their current recruitment campaign. Manufacturing a full range of materials testing machines for quality control including static, dynamic and hardness, they have over 1,000 dedicated staff worldwide and a fantastic reputation for quality.
For this Area Sales Manager position, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales experience
  • You will have sold materials testing equipment, scientific or environmental testing equipment or metrology products
  • Driven and structured sales people will succeed here
