Digital Content Executive - Graduate role - London

Fantastic opportunity to join this global media brand as a Digital Content Executive, based in their Central London office.

This role would suit a graduate who is passionate about digital content, digital marketing and content writing and editing.

An interest in technology, telecoms or digital communications would also be great to have.

You will deliver engaging and innovative digital content via the client’s digital channels, in order to improve the digital customer experience for customers and support business goals through content marketing. This role will report directly to the Editor.

Key responsibilities:

  • Govern the content platforms, including the CMS and implementing the company’s content strategy across all channels.
  • Maintain the website content to ensure it is all up-to-date, factually accurate and in line with the content plan, campaigns, digital best practise, brand and editorial guidelines and the company’s SEO strategy.
  • Work with the publishing team, in an agile way, to refine content production processes and improve productivity of the team.
  • Be an ambassador for content marketing and champion content to the wider business. Support the delivery of the content plan and a multi-channel approach to publishing.
  • Plan, research, create, proof-read, publish and measure performance of content.
  • Work closely with marketing team to identify content marketing opportunities and create content that gets results.
  • Create, optimise and manage web pages to support the company’s promotional and marketing activities.
  • Optimise content in line with the SEO strategy.
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of the CMS, and consider how the range of information held and published about company products and services can be enhanced and improved across all channels.
  • Use in-depth knowledge gained through research, analysis and tools such as Google Analytics, to support decisions about content.

You will be a recent graduate, ideally with a Degree in a marketing, media, digital focused degree. Any prior experience with Google Analytics, HTML, CMS (Content Management Systems), will be a bonus.

Salary is £20k Basic, rising to £23k Basic after 6 months, with a £4k Bonus, Health, Life, Medical, 25 days’ holiday on top.
