A small family business, well established (15 years) and an operator of 3 travel web sites with very high search rankings for travel to London, Paris and Rome.

This is a very flexible, permanent role working from home creating and updating content on these web sites within a team of 4.

The position can be either a traditional full time role working office hours or a more flexible arrangement with a minimum average of 25 hours a week required.

There is a clear career path (if desired and not a requirement) for fast track progress into management.

The web sites are text heavy with a focus on the practical and logistical aspects of travel to 3 major European cities.

Skillset Required

  • Essential - a passion for travel
  • Essential - high standard of literacy.
  • Essential - HTML and SEO knowledge, (but this is not a role with a technical bias)
  • Essential - experience required in an editorial role with digital media
  • The person will become a travel expert in London, Paris and Rome reflected in the content created and maintained. The role requires the ability to research, analyse and turn data into unique information content.
  • Occasional travel, experiencing the content covered may be required.

Hours, Location, Remuneration

  • Permanent position £25,000 to £30,000
  • Flexible working hours option 25-37 hours a week (Pro rata)
  • Based at home (must reside within 25 miles of Bracknell, Berkshire
  • Must have access to broadband
  • Total flexibility with hours worked (Monday to Friday)


You must have a keen interest in travel to city locations, particularly the logistical and practical aspects of visiting a city from an independently minded travellers perspective.

You will possess a high standard of literacy and have an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and must be organised and structured in your approach.

You will be full of ideas as well as having the attention to detail to produce work of the highest calibre.

You will have a knowledge of SEO and HTML 5.

You MUST have previous experience in an editorial capacity with digital media.
