A Global Facilities Management company with contracts across a multitude of industries & sectors are currently looking to recruit a skilled Building Maintenance Technician. Working in a large Belfast based city centre commercial property, you will have direct control of the hard service facilities maintenance. Your role will be situated in a prestigious office environment and your new employer is a market leader in Facilities Management, taking great pride in delivering an excellent service to both clients and employees alike. This is a great opportunity to work in a multifaceted city centre single site.

Your new role

Carry out routine maintenance on all plant and equipment to include fault finding, problem solving and minor repairs to minimise failures and downtime in an office/commercial environment.
Preventative maintenance on all plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings within the property.
Repairs to plant and equipment in the event of a breakdown.
Full, accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Health and Safety legislation, insurances and ISO requirements.
Contact external contractors and assist on site when required.
Carry out all minor mechanical & electrical repairs in relation to buildings and utilities, planned and executed in such a way so as to minimise risk.
Minor redecoration works Participate in a call out rota.

What you'll need to succeed

Relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification- NVQ/OND
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within an commercial/office environment.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
40 hour working week over a 7 day period i.e. 5 days working out of 7.
Generally working hours will be 8am-5pm Mon-Fri.
